Adrian Gonzalez and mariachis kick off new season of Viva Los Dodgers on Sunday

Adrian Gonzalez will help the Dodgers kick off the seventh season of Viva Los Dodgers (presented by State Farm and Time Warner Cable) at 3:05 p.m. Sunday, prior to the 5:05 p.m. game against the San Francisco Giants.
Auto gates open at 2:35 p.m., and Viva Los Dodgers takes place at the historic 76 station behind center field.
El Titan will make a special appearance from approximately 3:15 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a chance to take a photo with Gonzalez. Blue Prints will provide one complimentary photo per family or group.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez and Los 5. Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez last performed on the field May 23 last season, for Gonzalez’s bobblehead night. They’ll have a setlist of Gonzalez’s favorites ready for tomorrow.
Dodger alumni Dennis Powell and Tommy Davis will also sign autographs at Viva Los Dodgers following Gonzalez’s appearance.
Viva Los Dodgers includes live music, giveaways and sponsorship activations that offer family friendly activities. Talent that has performed at Viva Los Dodgers includes Grammy and Latin Grammy nominees and winners. Fans that attend Viva Los Dodgers also have the chance to meet, take photos with and receive autographs from current and former Dodger players. Current Dodgers that made appearances at Viva Los Dodgers last season included Gonzalez, Pedro Baez, Yimi Garcia, Yasmani Grandal, Kiké Hernandez, and Yasiel Puig. Dodger broadcasters Jaime Jarrín, Jorge Jarrín, Fernando Valenzuela and Pepe Yñiguez make appearances every year.
Viva Los Dodgers sponsors include Budweiser, who will have a Bud-and-burgers truck on site, and State Farm, who will have a greenscreen photo opportunity, face painter for airbrushed Dodger tattoos, a DJ and host who will distribute giveaways. Gazillion Bubbles will also be on hand with its bubble car and giveaways. Univision will activate for several events providing radio and TV talent and giveaways.
Dodger sponsors who will be on hand throughout the season for Viva Los Dodgers with activations and giveaways are: State Farm, Budweiser and Montejo, Chef Merito, 76, Kelloggs Rice Krispie Treats, SportsNetLA, Univision, 570 LA Sports, Marika (FAM Brands), Denny’s, Frito Lay, Loan Mart, LA Times, Hi-Chew, Welk Resorts, Gazillion Bubbles, Don Julio and Ketel One.
Viva Los Dodgers takes place each Sunday of every homestand, two hours prior to the game. This season-long Dodger initiative celebrates Latino culture in Los Angeles and the legacy of Latino Dodgers past and present at a family-friendly pregame festival at the historic 76 station. The event is free with a game-day ticket. All Dodger fans are welcome. Current and former Dodger player appearances and talent additions will be announced throughout the season. Viva Los Dodgers culminates with La Gran Fiesta Viva Los Dodgers, presented by State Farm and Time Warner Cable, September 24.
