Don’t give up on the Dodgers, because the Dodgers don’t give up on themselves.

Who is the best comeback team in the National League? When trailing at any point during a game this season, the Dodgers have come back to win 23 games. That’s tied with the San Francisco Giants for first in the National League. Texas leads baseball with 25, followed by Baltimore at 24.

The difference between the Dodgers and Giants is the Dodgers have more late comebacks.

When trailing after six innings, the Dodgers have won seven games (tops in the NL). They have an NL-high five wins when trailing after seven innings and are tied for the MLB lead with three wins when trailing after the eighth inning.

With the midway point now here, we can double those numbers and set the pace for the Dodgers.

They are on track to having their best comeback season since 2004, when they had 53 comeback wins — 17 when trailing after six innings, 12 when trailing after seven and six when trailing after eight.

That was the season when Jose Lima became a cult hero in Los Angeles. That 2004 team was also one of the most powerful teams in franchise history, hitting 203 home runs.

I have not given up on the Dodgers, but have given up on our FO. Colletti did a better job!

Clearly you’re a Giants fan.

Nope long time Dodger fan. Clearly you are a Friedman fanatic keep drinking the KoolAid

Coletti did care more about the the here and now, but the reason this team has a 200M+ payroll with a bunch of dead weight is because of what he did. Both FO are flawed, but at least the future looks good. Doesn’t mean it helps today.

hope you are right….disappointing moves so far
