By Cary Osborne
The Dodgers’ top right-handed pitching prospect and MLB.com No. 20 overall prospect Jose De Leon threw arguably the best game of his professional career on Wednesday night.
De Leon pitched eight innings for the first time as a pro and allowed four hits and no walks while striking out 10 batters in a 7-0 win for Triple-A Oklahoma City against Seattle affiliate Tacoma.
The 23-year-old threw 105 pitches, 80 of which were strikes. He threw 11 total balls in the third through eighth innings.
Covering his last three starts, De Leon has 29 strikeouts in 20 innings.
