Was that Kaepernick out there.

What Kaepernick is doing is kneeling because he doesn’t feel like saluting a flag which somehow has become a prerequisite to playing sports in North America. Apparently, Kaepernick doesn’t like how unarmed black men are dying due to police actions across the country. What the guys in right field did was storm the field and then try to burn an American flag in response to the American war in Vietnam.

Sure, there are some similarities, but there are more differences. Like those guys with the flag being white, and Kaepernick being black. Or that those guys are fans and Kaep is an athlete. Of course, the bigger difference is that Kaepernick has chosen to not do something (standing at attention) rather than these guys who are doing something (burning a flag in the outfield).

Or maybe you just need glasses.
