Today, the Dodgers’ National League Division Series roster officially became what they unofficially indicated it would be Tuesday. Here’s how it looks from a lefty-righty standpoint:

Right-handed position players (6): Austin Barnes, Carlos Ruiz, Justin Turner, Charlie Culberson, Howie Kendrick, Yasiel Puig

Left-handed position players (7): Adrían González, Chase Utley, Corey Seager, Joc Pederson, Josh Reddick, Andrew Toles, Andre Ethier

Switch-hitters (1): Yasmani Grandal

Right-handed pitchers (6): Kenta Maeda, Ross Stripling, Kenley Jansen, Joe Blanton, Pedro Báez, Josh Fields

Left-handed pitchers (5): Clayton Kershaw, Rich Hill, Julio Urías, Grant Dayton, Luis Avilan

The Nationals also announced their official NLDS roster, which includes three ex-Dodgers: Chris Heisey, Clint Robinson and Jayson Werth. Washington also announced this morning that right-hander Tanner Roark will start NLDS Game 2, with lefty Gio Gonzalez taking the mound for Game 3 in Los Angeles on Monday.

Good news that Gonzalez will only get one start in game 3, frankly I would have started him in game 2 so he could come back in game 5 if I were the Nats decision makers. Yes he may not have his best numbers this year, but considering how Dodgers have hit lefties this year, the more they face, the chances of winning are worse.
