Arrive early Friday for Vin Scully Appreciation Day

If there’s ever a day to arrive early at Dodger Stadium, Friday is it.

Sixty-seven years in the making, Vin Scully Appreciation Day will have unique tributes and a special giveaway for fans. Auto gates will open at 4:10 p.m. and stadium gates at 4:40 p.m. for that night’s game against Colorado. The first 50,000 fans in attendance will receive a special letter of dedication to fans from Vin himself.

Fans are encouraged to get to their seats before 6:30 p.m. for the start of the pregame ceremonies.


Vin Scully Special Commemorative Edition magazine comes to Dodger Stadium on September 25

For Vin Scully’s final homestand with the Dodgers, we’ve created something special for Dodger Insider.

The 96-page September 19-25 issue of the magazine has been dedicated to content celebrating the career of the beloved broadcaster. And on the final day of the season — Fan Appreciation Day — the first 50,000 ticketed fans will get an edition with the special commemorative cover seen above.

A quick reminder that Beatles Night at Dodger Stadium is tonight, preceding the Dodgers’ 7:10 p.m. game against the National League-leading Chicago Cubs. Fans are encouraged to arrive early …

  • You will be able to take their own picture in front of the above Dodger-ized Abbey Road photo in the Right Field Plaza.
  • Select fans who arrive early will be invited onto the field to play Beatles Trivia — the winner gets to throw the ceremonial first pitch.
  • Beatles tribute band “The Fab Four” will perform prior to the game, beginning at approximately 6 p.m.

Jewish Community Day at Dodger Stadium on August 28

Ticket packages for the 17th annual event purchased directly through include a ticket for the game and a commemorative Dodgers T-Shirt.

Beatles Night at Dodger Stadium celebrates a 50-year anniversary

Almost 50 years to the date after the Beatles performed at Dodger Stadium, the band’s massive presence will be felt again in the same ballpark.

Dodger Stadium will host Beatles Night on August 26. That same night, the Dodgers will clash with the National League Central leading Chicago Cubs.

The Dodgers are offering a ticket package that includes a ticket to the game and a co-branded Beatles/Dodger 50th Anniversary Beach Towel. Tickets can be purchased at The beach towel is available exclusively through this link.

The Beatles tribute band “The Fab Four” will perform prior to the game, beginning at approximately 6 p.m. Brian Ray, a guitarist for Sir Paul McCartney’s band, will perform the National Anthem that night.

To top it off, Friday Night Fireworks (presented by Denny’s) will feature a Beatles mix by “Breakfast with the Beatles” host Chris Carter.

The Beatles performed the penultimate show of their final tour at Dodger Stadium on August 28, 1966. They played two shows — ever — after Dodger Stadium: Candlestick Park in San Francisco on August 29 and their rooftop farewell at Apple Records headquarters in London in 1969.

Kings Night at Dodger Stadium arrives Friday

Kings Night at Dodger Stadium is Friday, and if you buy your ticket through the Kings Night package at, you’ll get this exclusive Kings/Dodgers scarf.

In addition, former Kings Derek Armstrong and Daryl Evans will sign autographs for fans from 5:10 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Right Field Plaza, where they will be joined by the Ice Crew and mascot Bailey.

The group will also be on the field for pregame ceremonies, with Kyle Clifford, Trevor Lewis, Brayden McNabb and Tyler Toffoli throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

You can purchase a ticket package for the Dodgers’ August 8 7:10 p.m. game against the Philadelphia Phillies that gets you the same Dodgers/Lakers co-branded cap that new Lakers head coach Luke Walton wore on Saturday when he threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
