The season is officially back and in full force, and so are Andre Ethier Suite Nights.

As some of you readers might remember from last season, a part of the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation’s Giving Moments were Suite Nights, thanks to Ethier, where nonprofit organizations LADF supports for an experience most kids dream about.

This past week, students and corps members from LADF grantee Teach For America got the special treatment. The students were greeted and ushered down to the field, where they got to view batting practice, take selfies with outfielder Joc Pederson and pictures by the iconic LA emblem. It didn’t stop there — after batting practice and a tour, the students were brought to their suite, courtesy of Ethier. The suite was filled with New Balance gear, including shoes for all students.

TFA enlists, develops and mobilizes promising future leaders to grow and strengthen the movement for educational equity and excellence. Nearly 800 corps members and alumni in Los Angeles currently teach more than 65,000 students every day. LADF has invested $25,000 in support of TFA’s corps members at Manual Arts High School in South Los Angeles.
