The team at MLB.com’s MLB Pipeline announced its organizational Prospects of the Year today for every Major League team. They chose Brock Stewart as the Dodgers’ Top Pitching Prospect and Cody Bellinger as the Top Hitting Prospect.

Bellinger, who started the season unranked on MLB.com’s Top Prospects list, ended the season at No. 31. The first baseman is now the Dodgers’ No. 1 overall prospect after a season in which he OPSed .872 and hit 26 home runs mostly with Double-A Tulsa.

Stewart, who started the season with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga and played with Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City, had a 1.79 ERA and 0.88 WHIP in 121 minor league innings. He was also selected as the Dodgers’ Branch Rickey Minor League Pitcher of the Year. The right-hander made his Major League debut June 29 and had a 5.79 ERA in 28 innings for the Dodgers.
